Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes synopsis
When Milwaukee police entered the apartment of 31-year-old Jeffrey Dahmer in July of 1991, they came across his grisly personal museum of a serial killer. This included a freezer full of bones, human heads, skulls, and other remains in various states of decomposition and display.
Dahmer confessed to 16 murders, and as he spoke, the details of his crimes fascinated the nation. Even though he was known to have sexually assaulted a minor, Dahmer had managed to avoid being caught for over a decade.
One reason is that he targeted men who were gay and people of color. According to Netflix, the documentary delves into Dahmer’s warped psyche while answering the open questions of police accountability through a modern-day lens.
