After many years in the making, ‘The Sandman’ Season 1 will finally make its way to Netflix on August 5th, 2022. It will be released with the show’s highly predicted 10-episode first season format.

It’s based on a comic book by Neil Gaiman and was published by DC Comics. The Sandman is a series of dark fantasies that follows Dream. It’s also known as Morpheus and The Sandman, one of the seven Endless. The story revolves around a group of powerful beings, and Dream is the personification, as well as the ruler of all dreams and stories.

In the series, Dream sets out on a mission to restore his kingdom to its former glory after imprisonment for over a century.

The show revolves around Tom Sturridge, who will be playing Dream. He is already earning rave reviews from critics, and he’s assisted by a stunning group of actors who are set to play a vital role in the show’s first season.

One of them is Patton Oswalt. He is no stranger to iconic franchises, and he has worked with the likes of Marvel, Disney, and DC Comics over the years.

Patton Oswalt is an essential part of The Sandman. One, however, might not notice it at first, as Oswalt does not appear on-screen directly. Instead, he’s providing his iconic voice for the character of Matthew, the Raven.
