Netflix is welcoming the new week by adding 11 new movies and shows to its platform on January 22. Though there are a few new contents this week, there are a few of them that might catch your interest. A new comedy movie, a dramedy with a music twist, and action-adventure series are some new shows and movies included in the line-up list.
Starring Luke Treadway, Morven Christie, Ruby Stokes, and Cameron Chapman, followed by two teen boys running a ghost-hunting agency and a girl with psychic abilities, “Lockwood & Co” is going to be one of the biggest shows of this upcoming week. This new series will start streaming on Friday, i.e., January 27, 2023, aiming to change history forever by uncovering a mystery together.
Another movie, “You People,” is waiting in this line to be streamed on Friday, January 27, on Netflix. This star-studded movie revolves around a family and a couple stepping on into the next phase of the relationship. They visit their parents, where they will deal with the differences of generational issues, cultural clashes, and family drama together. The movie’s star cast includes Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lauren London, Nia Long, Elliot Gould, David Duchovny, Mike Epps, and Rhea Perlman.
This week on Wednesday, January 25, brings another movie, “Begin Again,” featuring Kiera Knightley: an aspiring songwriter singer, and Mark Ruffalo: a failed music producer. In this movie, they form a band, making the kind of music they have always longed for. Also, two more new shows, “Against the Ropes“ and “The Snow Girl,” are being added to Netflix on January 25 and 27, respectively.
