‘Squid Game’ Season 2 Update: Expected Release Date and Everything Else We Know

Squid Game season 2 is one of Netflix’s most highly anticipated releases. Squid Game was an excellent success for Netflix, and despite taking over ten years to bring to our screens, the second season of Squid Game was green-lit nine months after its release.

But, if you were hoping to catch the Squid Game season 2 series on Netflix this month, unfortunately, the show is not coming to the streaming giant in November 2022.

The premise for the show revolves around 456 players, all of whom are in deep financial hardship and facing many problems in their life. They participate in a series of dangerous and deadly children’s games to survive and get their hands on the mega prize pot. Will be see a return to the games arena in the next series or will the plot deviate and explore the people behind it all through the eyes of Seong Gi-hun? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Latest Updates of Squid Game season 2

Back in June, the Streaming platform confirmed that it had renewed Squid Game for another season by sharing a message from the creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, who proclaimed, “a whole new round is coming.”

Unfortunately, at this time of writing, Netflix has yet to reveal the official release date of Squid Game, though there are plenty of theories online. Creator Dong-hyuk teased In an interview with Vanity Fair that the show could be back sometime in 2023 or 2024.
