‘Reboot’: Johnny Knoxville Laments Cancellation of His Popular Hulu Show

After streaming the show’s first season, the original sitcom Reboot on Hulu has been cancelled. The biggest star of this show, Johnny Knoxville, shared the news. Steve Levitan’s Reboot is a popular scripted comedy series. The dysfunctional cast navigates a life within the entertainment environment and the media and faces unresolved issues. 

This show features comedic actors, including Rachel Bloomas Hannah Korman, Keegan-Michael Key as Reed Sterling, Judy Greer as Bree Marie Jensen, Johnny Knoxville as Clay Barber, Krista Marie Yuas Elaine Kim, and Paul Reiseras Gordon Gelman, among many others. The popular Reboot show’s star, Johnny Knoxville, recently posted about the cancellation of the Reboot show by Hulu in his Instagram post.

In his post, he gave a long caption with the Jackass franchise icon, where he mentioned the positive review of the Reboot series, and it also received awards nominations. 

This detailed post shows his disbelief in Hulu’s decision. Johnny Knoxville mentioned that working on this show was a turning point in his long comedic acting career, and he expects this show gets the best platform or network for further seasons.

He hopes the new network will give them better support and success. Well, it was surprising that Hulu discontinued with Reboot after taking only 1 season. This show performed well on Hulu. However, Hulu did not reveal a total number of streams for the first season. This decision was also surprising for Steven Levitan as he has a history with successful and modern family sitcoms.
