‘Murder Mystery 2’: Release Date, Cast, Production Team, and All Else We Know

A sequel to the Adam Sandler comedy Murder Mystery has been commissioned by Netflix after the success of the first one. Filming ended in 2022, and the movie has since been in post-production. Here’s our updated first look and preview of the movie, which is expected to premiere on March 31st, 2023.

It’s the sequel to Netflix’s incredibly successful 2019 comedy, Murder Mystery. Jeremy Garelick replaces Kyle Newacheck as the project director, but James Vanderbilt has returned as the scriptwriter.

Murder Mystery 2 Production Details

Principal photography for Murder Mystery 2 began on January 28th, 2022, and lasted for three months before ending on April 26th, 2022. Filming will take place in Hawaii and Paris, France. Adam Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison Productions, will handle production again.

If you include Uncut Gems, which is also a Netflix Original outside of the US, Sandler will have starred in ten Netflix Originals.

In Enola Holmes, Adeel Akhtar played Detective Lestrade, and he will reprise that role in Enola Holmes 2. He was hilarious in the British comedy Four Lions and a fan favorite in the British cult series Utopia. There have been no official announcements of the remaining cast members, but we expect Mark Strong, Melania Laurent, and Jodie Turner-Smith to deliver a great performance.

Muder Mystery 2 Cast Details

As of now the release date of the Muder Mystery 2 is scheduled for March 31. Although it is clear that the series will be released with a lot of other movies releasing like Creed 3, Scream 6, John Wick Chapter 4 and many more.
