Pinnochio is a live-action adaptation of the classic animated film, and it was based on the book The Adventures of Pinocchio by the author Carlo Collodi. This adaptation takes us to an Italian village where the titular puppet is brought to life by the enchanting Blue Fairy. He later embarks on an adventure, hoping to become a real boy one day.
Tom Hanks is playing the character of Geppetto, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth Behind the voice of Pinocchio. The director for Pinocchio is none other than Robert Zemeckis. Zemeckis is known for his impressive list of works, such as Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and The Polar Express. Chris Weitz wrote the script and is known for penning the screenplay for the 2015 Disney live-action film Cinderella.
