Actress Reese is executive producing a new series for Hulu, Tiny Beautiful Things.
She is accompanied by showrunner and executive producer Liz Tigelaar, as well as EPs Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Jayme Lemons, Cheryl Strayed, Stacey Silverman, and Kathryn Hahn. Hahn is also playing the leading lady in the show!
The story centres around Clare (Hahn), who is at a tough point in her personal life. When we first meet the character, her marriage to her husband Danny is breaking down, her daughter Rae is pushing her away, and her “once-promising” writing career is almost non-existent.

Yes. Tiny Beautiful Things is, in fact, based on a book. Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar is a collection of personal essays from author Cheryl Strayed. She had written them anonymously, but this show will be a fictionalised version of her life.
