Season 5’s start date has yet to be officially announced, but it is hoped that the wait will be shorter than season 4.The Duffer brothers teased that Stranger Things Season 5 will be “an emotional one,” but we do not yet have the official synopsis.

The Duffer brothers said in season 4 of the series that there will be a season 5 and probably that will be the final instalment. There are still a lot of exciting stories to tell, new enigmas, new adventures, and new heroes that nobody expected.

The Fifth season of Stranger Things will be the final one, but it will not be the end of the Stranger Things universe. The season 5 of the series will feature Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). Rest of the cast will make their final stand to save Hawkins in the show’s last season on Netflix. In a recent TikTok post, Noah Schnapp revealed that the fifth season’s filming would begin in May 2023.

David Harbour also mentioned to JoBlo celebrity interviews that filming the show’s final season could take anywhere from eight to nine months. When the fifth season officially begins production, fans will likely have a better idea. Other cast members have said that filming might start in the middle of 2023, which could mean the movie will come out in late 2024 (it is undoubtedly unconfirmed at this time.) However, please take this information with a grain of salt because it is only our prediction, and the actual release date may differ significantly.
