Like the first movie follows the events from the first book, the second movie uses a few events from the second book. However, according to ScreenRant, the writers have withdrawn a lot of liberties with the sequel.
In Enola Holmes 2, Enola is now a detective-for-hire and searches for a missing girl as her first case. However, the more she investigates, the more she discovers a dangerous conspiracy that seems to be towering over it all. And Sherlock, her older brother, took his case that might be connected to hers.
