No, Tully and Danny do not end up together. We saw Danny in the 1985 timeline, where Tully and Kate are working at KPOC, and Tully runs into Danny from the rival news station to cover a story.

We then get to know about their history. One night when they were flirting with each other at a bar, Danny took another woman home instead of Tully. This explains the bad terms between them.

After a press conference for Benedict Binswanger later, Tully and Danny did sleep together. However, Danny lets Tully know he’s not looking for anything serious. Later, Danny gets hired by KPOC and starts working alongside Tully.

After sleeping together for the second time, they finally get together, but their honeymoon phase doesn’t continue for long.

Once when Tully and Danny went up for a weekend anchor position KPOC, Tully saw Danny talking to their boss. So she starts to think that the position went to him, and she then realises that Danny pulled himself from applying, which meant she got the job.

Danny says he gave up the position because he got a job offer from a new cable sports channel in New York. Neither of them believes that long-distance would work. So, they decide to break up.

They meet again in 2004 when Danny moves into the penthouse across the hall from Tully. However, Danny tells Tully to end any possible romantic relationship.
