We may be seeing the fourth instalment of Austin Powers soon. Mike Myers has given a few hints about a possible new movie in the franchise.

In an interview with Access Online whilst promoting his latest film Bohemian Rhapsody, Myers was asked about a potential new Powers film. He stated that we will be seeing the infamous Dr Evil soon.

Furthermore, he spoke about how the Austin Powers films take a long time to write. According to Myers, it has always been that way. The original trilogy was released 2-3 years apart. Therefore, it might be a little while before we see Austin get his mojo back.

Do you think a new Powers film would be groovy, baby?

Mike gave no further info on where Dr Evil will be cropping up again. However, it is clear we will be seeing him before the release of the next film, which will help to tide us over. We cannot wait to see the next parody spy film from this series!

Mike Myers hasn’t always had success in Hollywood, read about why here!
