Alan Partridge To Return To The BBC In New Series

Ah-ha!

BBC

Alan Partridge will be returning to the screens of Britain. The BBC has announced a new series of the Steve Coogan masterclass.

The comedy genius has been entertaining viewers for three decades. So, its no doubt that his return to our screens will gather plenty of excitement. The new show will be called, ‘This time with Alan Partridge’. It is believed to be a spin-off of ‘The One Show’ in which Partridge will be undertaking his traditional role as a TV host.

The BBC has announced that filming is already underway. There is no set date that it will be aired so it looks like exciting fans are going to have to wait.

Here’s what the BBC has said about the show

“This Time is the perfect shop window for a man of Alan’s gravitas and will – or should – see him finally recognised as one of the heavyweight broadcasters of his era.

[The agenda was] very much the sweet spot for a man whose CV boasts over two decades of weekday local radio.

With an array of diverse subjects on the agenda, it promises the perfect fit for a man whose broadcasting style has been described as ‘equidistant between chitchat and analysis.'”

Although they haven’t revealed an awful lot, it is enough to get people excited. It has also been stated that the program is believed to star Susannah Fielding, playing Partridge’s co-presenter Jennie Gresham.

I’m sure it will be worth the wait and will be ‘ruddy’ brilliant. Check out Simon Pegg And Nick Frost Bring You A New Horror Comedy Sitcom.
