Blood & Water is a continuous South African teen crime drama television sequence that recently released its third season on 25 November 2022. The show pursues the story of a girl who transfers to a privileged school when she presumes that one of the pupils may be her long-lost sister, who was kidnaped as an infant. It made its debut on 20 May 2020 and has released nineteen episodes as of yet.

It is created by Gambit Films for Netflix and stars Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, and Gail Mabalane. The plot is written by Nosipho Dumisa-Ngoasheng, Daryne Joshua, and Travis Taute. The series also won the award of Best TV Drama at the South African Film and Television Awards, as well as one for cinematography and sound design.

The show revolves around the lead character Puleng, a high school student whose sister Phume was seized as part of a human trafficking grid briefly after her birth. The story evolves as, On the same day of Phume’s birthday, Puleng is requested to a party of Fikile Beale. After catching the similarity, Puleng starts to question that Fikile might be her sister’s Phone.

With positive reviews in its pockets, the show stands with an average rating of 6.5 out of 10. The show’s recent season has six episodes and begins with Fiks paying a vigorous stop to the Khumalo home while searching for explanations with Puleng. The plot thickens as The authorities scrutinize the Molapos, and Siya is noticed commencing at Parkhurst.

The first episode is titled “Re-Orientation” and is written by Chinaka Iwunze and directed by Travis Taute. All the episodes of the third season and the previously released season are available to binge-watch on Netflix.
