Hasbulla Magomedov and Abdu Rozik are set for a showdown in the coming days.

Ever since their pre-fight “press conference” went viral on TikTok, the world waited with eager anticipation. According to Chechen MMA Fighter Ashab Tamaev, the duo are set to finally square off in the next three to four days.

Chechen MMA fighter Ashab Tamaev organized the fight. The 18-year old Hasbulla, and 17-year old Abdu, are both around 3 feet tall. Both of them have Dwarfism, or Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD). Currently, there is no information how Hasbulla and Abdu will fight.

Hasbulla began posting content to Instagram, and went viral on TikTok in November 2020. He went on to become an overnight sensation after announcing his fight with Abdu.

A debate erupted over the fight, which the Sports Association of Little People of Russia condemned as “unethical.” The chief of Russia’s Dwarf Athletic Association, Uliana Podpalnaya, criticized the organization of the Hasbullah vs Rozik fight. Podpalnaya said:

It’s not even like a show fight — they get paid a lot of money and it’s a show to make people laugh. There’s nothing serious about this, this isn’t sport. This is unethical, wrong, from my point of view. It seems to be that only on the one hand it can be correct and beautiful — if martial arts among small people are made a Paralympic sport.

Representing Dagestan, a Russian republic, Hasbulla is ready. As he comes from the same place as Khabib Nurmagomedov, Hasbulla is often referred to as “Mini Khabib.”
