‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Clip Reveals an Evil Army of Mini Stay Puft Marshmallow Men

Definitely NOT who you’re gonna call…

We all know that the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters is slightly chaotic. No one is denying this. He caused carnage as he stormed through New York City in the original 1984 movie. And now, a clip from the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife, shows many smaller versions of the Marshmallow Man. Obviously causing their own carnage.

The clip starts with Paul Rudd, best known for his role as AntMan in the Marvel franchise, browsing for ice cream in a store, before an ominous scream is heard faintly in the background.

There’s certainly foregrounding in this short, but sweet clip. As Rudd walks away and heads towards a bag of marshmallows, it ruffles slightly before he browses it. That’s when the mini marshmallow men are formed.

Before you know it, they are cannibalistically roasting each over on sticks over a grill and turning each other into smores, as Rudd looks on in terror. Totally normal and totally expected.

The clip comes from the upcoming Ghostbusters movie, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which is due for release in November of this year.

The movie will focus on a single mother and her two children, who move to a new town, soon discovering that they have a connection to the original ghostbusters and their grandfathers secret legacy.

Rudd will play, Mr. Grooberson, the children’s new teacher that knows of the Ghostbusters’ legacy.

Can’t wait till November for its release? There’s this to watch, we’re sure it’s pretty good.
