Italian Politician Massimiliano Fedriga was hospitalized with chickenpox earlier this week. Fedriga also wasn’t vaccinated and happens to be the leading anti-vaccination politician in Italy — ironic, isn’t it?
Not only is Fedriga stupid for not getting himself vaccinated, but he’s also stupid for campaigning for others not to be vaccinated. Just a few years ago, he campaigned against children receiving many of the necessary vaccinations.
Incidents like these may have been excusable back in the 17th century, but guess what! In the 21st century, we have scientific facts that tell you how stupid you are if you don’t get vaccinated.
Fedriga is certainly harming himself by not getting vaccinated. However, what I’m more concerned about is that he’s putting others at risk by campaigning for this cause. It’s tough to understand how somebody could be so naive and so willing to put their people at risk.
