Annie Wersching, who played the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard and Renee Walker in the series 24, passed away at age 45. Wersching made her acting debut as Liana in an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise in 2002 when she was 25. She appeared in nearly 40 television shows, two video games, and two films. Wersching initially featured on the crime drama television series 24, Season 7 as special FBI agent Renee Walker. Wersching was undoubtedly seen in at least one of my favorite shows, and her death devastated the industry. Viewers and industry professionals are mourning Wersching’s death and urging people to donate to her family via the GoFundMe campaign. Wersching will be missed, whether as Renee Walker on 24, the Borg Queen on Picard, or any of her other memorable performances.
