Lesley-Ann Brandt, aka Maze from Lucifer, has stepped in to save Warrior Nun. “Lucifer 2.0. Massive international fan base with so much story left to tell. Hoping it works out for everyone involved,” Brandt tweeted as a reply to a tweet from the Warrior Nun showrunner’s thanks to the fans’ support.

Of course, Lucifer managed to avoid the cancellation twice, with Netflix saving the show after FOX cancelled it after three seasons and then ordered a sixth season which was intended to be its final season. So Brandt’s dubbing of Warrior Nun as Lucifer 2.0 indicates her desire to see the show beat the odds as Lucifer did to get a second lease on life.

“Thank you so much for sharing and supporting this cause. We did it for Lucifer and now we’ll do it again,” commented one passionate fan. “We love you, Lesley. Thanks for your support #SaveWarriorNun we will win this war,”.

Could Netflix reverse its decision to cancel Warrior Nun?

Although it’s not common for Netflix to change its cancellation orders, it has happened in the past. After renewing the show for a fifth and final season, Netflix decided to bring back Lucifer for a sixth season.

A key was the support shown by fans. So Warrior Nun fans need to keep making waves with social pushes and re-watching the show. Netflix does pay attention to fan campaigns, and manifest is another prime example of it.
