Ever wish you could go back to simpler times when your favorite tv shows and movies contained catchy songs and dances for you to mindlessly indulge in? Did you truly know what their plots were or catch all the jokes every time? No, but I bet you can definitely sing every word to the show’s opening tracks. In fact, you can relive those simpler times this summer with your friends at an iparty event!

Sound Familiar?

You may have recently seen videos online of cast members from the Nickelodeon hit show Victorious dancing and singing on stage. Actress Elizabeth Gillies has been recently seen onstage sporting a replica outfit to the one her character Jade on the show used to wear. Equipped with combat boots, fishnets, and a black skirt and shirt combo. And if you listen closely you can hear her singing the song “Take A Hint”. Yes, the very same “Take A Hint” from the now-canceled show.

Danielle Monet has also been spotted onstage singing “Chicago” to a live audience. Another iconic song and dance moment from Victorious. The original clip from the show even plays behind her as she takes the stage to revive her wacky fame-obsessed character. So what exactly is happening here? A Victorious reunion or are the former co-stars just feeling nostalgic?

What’s iparty?

This is actually all the conspirings of actor Matt Bennett and his DJ friend @jefferythedj. The former Victorious star is traveling all over the world this summer playing DJ sets that include Nickelodeon classics. And by the looks of it, he’s bringing some of his good friends and past castmates along for surprise appearances too. The event is 18+ only and includes dance and song sing-along entertainment all night long.

But you don’t have just the Nickelodeon classics to look forward to because Matt includes a variety of early 2000s teen bops that are sure to make you yearn for the years long gone. This includes Disney Channel hits by Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Miley Cyrus. You can also jam to tracks from your favorite Disney Channel Original Movies including The Cheetah Girls, Lemonade Mouth, and High School Musical.
