The Final Trailer for “1917” Reveals a Heart-Pounding Story

From Director Sam Mendes, “1917” releases worldwide on January 10, 2020.

“1917” is a movie set at the beginning of World War I, and follows two British soldiers. Lance Corporal Blake (played by Dean-Charles Chapman) and Lance Corporal Schofield (played by George MacKay) are tasked with delivering a message.

Sounds easy enough, right? The only problem: they have to cross deep into enemy territory to deliver the message. And if they don’t, 1600 of their soldiers will be ambushed and killed, one of whom is Blake’s brother.

With appearances from others such as Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch, this movie is sure to be a success. In fact, after it’s theatrical release in the United States on December 25, 2019, “1917” was nominated for three awards at the 77th Golden Globe Awards, including Best Motion Picture- Drama.

The 77th Golden Globe Awards will broadcast live on January 5, 2020. Until then, you can go to see the film right now in the United States or Canada. The film is scheduled to release in the United Kingdom on January 10, 2020. To read more about the movie, check here.
