Yes! The indie foursome has announced a number of festival dates. Last performing on stage three years ago the band, Arctic Monkeys are set to dazzle fans this summer with more music!

Just announcing that the band is set to headline Delaware’s Firefly Music Festival, alongside musical legends such as Eminem, The Killers, and Kendrick Lamar. It would seem like the band is going to release some new tunes very soon. This follows an interview with bassist Nick O’Malley, in which he revealed that the band was working on a new album.

The promise of new music is twinned with numerous festival announcements such as the Mad Cool festival which takes place in Madrid, as well as Primavera Sound in Barcelona. Also on the list is Rock Werchter in Belgium. Sounds like the boys have a busy summer ahead!

Last album AM, debuted back to 2013 so fans have been eagerly awaiting the chance to hear more indie rock. Having usually released an album every two to three years, this is an uncharacteristically long break for the lads. However, I have high hopes for the return of Arctic Monkeys! Let’s hope they don’t leave us waiting for too much longer.

Excited about the new music? Well, another great band is releasing an album in 2018, Gorillaz!
