NFL’s Kansas City Chief’s had an incredible game on November 29th, 2020! Tyreek Hill, their wide receiver, had one of the best receiving games in NFL history according to ESPN writer, Adam Teicher. Hill was the fifth receiver to ever get 260 yds and three touchdowns. He celebrated his hard work in style: he backflipped over the goal line and secured their final touchdown.

In the first quarter of the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tyreek Hill’s stats were strong: 7 catches, 203 yards and 2 touchdowns. A Twitter account called @ESPN Stats & Info tweeted:

“Tyreek Hill finished the 1st quarter with 203 receiving yards. That’s the most by any player in a quarter since Lee Evans had 205 in the first quarter of a 2006 game against the Texans. Hill’s 203 receiving yards are the most by any player in an entire GAME this season.”

That’s to be expected from a two-time Super Bowl Champion team.

In the second quarter of the game, Patrick Mahomes II, Tampa’s quarterback, stepped up his game and gave Tyreek Hill a run for his money. However, in his NFL career, Hill holds more than half of Mahomes yards in stats. With 1,021 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns, Hill is a force to be reckoned with.

It was a fierce fight, but Tyreek Hill held his own.

At the 6:49 mark, the magical moment blessed televisions across the nation. Hill caught a downfield pass (outrunning the Buccaneers), racing to catch a 75-yard touchdown, evading Mahomes and several defenders and executing a spectacular backflip into the endzone. The chief’s ended the first quarter at 17-0 with 1:32 remaining because of Hill’s flying feet (his nickname is appropriate: “Cheetah”).

It was like something out of the silver screen.
