Paper Girls graphic novel is a long-awaited tv adaptation, and fans have eagerly waited for its release for three years. Well, the waiting finally seems to be at an end after it was announced the series with air this year.
There’s enough about Paper Girls for the series to appeal to YA and sci-fi fans who haven’t read graphic novels. The series contains four 12-year-olds who believe Halloween 1988 will be like any other day but soon find themselves caught in a war they never thought possible.
The Time War
When the teenagers are dragged forward in time and come across their future selves, they figure they need to work together to get back to 1988. People out there have outlawed time travel, and now, 12-year-olds are required to break the law in order to get back home.
However, there is some bad news for those who want Netflix to stream this series. Paper Girls will not run on Netflix but will instead see the graphic novel adaptation head to rivals, Prime Video.
