Fans were already thrilled with the return of Rick and Morty season four last month after waiting two long years so its time for celebration again as creators of the show announce five additional episodes will be coming soon.
One of the show’s stars, Spencer Grammer (who plays Summer) said: “You’ll see some pretty dynamic [stories] for Summer coming up. We have, I think, two more episodes airing in this chunk. And then we have another fiver coming out eventually, sooner than later.”
Speaking to Collider, Grammer also announced that season five is already in the works: “I know they’re working on season five. I hope we do get to explore more from her background and the future just in general.”
Season four of Rick and Morty premiered last month on November 10 with the first five episodes making up part one of the season. The release date for the next five is still unknown.
