Henry Cavill declared in October that he’d withdrawn himself from The Witcher franchise, although the series is being renewed for a fourth season. Liam Hemsworth is replacing him in the lead role, and fans don’t seem to be not happy.

Henry is going over to Amazon to work on the new Warhammer adaptation. That being said, we will get to see Henry for one more season.

When is The Witcher season 3 coming to Netflix?

The January 2023 listing doesn’t include The Witcher. It’s not that surprising because Blood Origins just came out on Netflix on Christmas Day. In addition to that, Netflix has already announced that the third season will be out at some point in summer 2023.

Entertainment Weekly spotted some details about the third season, which indicates some of the reveals in the second season. The Wild Hunt is happening, and Geralt is learning what that means. This is an enormous threat to Ciri, and Geralt will not let something happen to her.

Geralt will give up impartiality throughout the third season. He will do whatever he can to protect Ciri, and this is a heroic sendoff for Cavill in the role.

The title of the very first episode is “Shaerrawedd,” which tells us a lot about the book. We’re proceeding to the ruins for this episode, which is known as the last remnants of the Elven palace from centuries ago.
