Day Shift: Is It Suitable For Children to Watch?

Netflix currently offers the movie Day Shift, starring Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Dave Franco. Though it’s a great summer movie and a humorous and exciting popcorn treat, can the whole family watch it on movie night?

You might want to wait till after the kids have gone to bed to see this movie because it features a lot of graphic violence and is classified R. But for you to know what to anticipate from the movie, we’ll go into the official parents’ guide and age rating down below (spoiler-free). After that, you may decide for yourself and your children whether it’s appropriate.

Day Shift: parental guide and age rating.

With an R rating, Day Shift may not be appropriate for viewers under 17. It is an R-rated adult film because of the intense violence, gore, and profanity. You may anticipate that there will be a lot of profanity and crude language, given that the cast includes actors and musicians like Dave Franco, Snoop Dogg, and Jamie Foxx.

The film’s intense level of violence and gore is primarily responsible for its R rating. Given that it is about chasing vampires, you may anticipate a lot of dramatic action scenes. There is a lot of blood and gore in many because they are highly stylized; people have their heads chopped off, shot, bombed, and have many other horrific injuries.

Although there isn’t much sexual material in the film, if you’re worried about frightening your children, you should avoid showing them this. Day Shift is unquestionably more of an action-comedy, but some of the darker vampire and violent scenes may probably scare some small kids and some adolescents. There is a severe warning for parents.
