Bulgarian villager, Georgi Tumaplov, built an entire castle mansion with no loans, achieving his dream,
The man is Georgi Tumaplov from Northern Bulgaria. Inspired by his love for fantasy, and regardless of his lack of architectural studies, Tumaplov managed to build his dream, from the ground up.
Castle In Love with the Wind was Georgi Tumaplov’s dream 22 years ago. He set off with the help of 10 others to build it on no loans to create his ideal fantastical home.
It is still under construction today with the interior not yet complete. However, the castle’s impressive architecture over 45,000 square meters of land in Ravadinovo, Bulgaria, based on a cross-shaped infrastructure, is breath-taking already.
It includes a dedicated climate controlled wine cellar, an intimate chapel dedicated to universal religions for all, an outdoor terrace with local peacocks, a man-made 5 meter deep pond and an exotic zoo…
This castle estate has already been recognized for its tours and game escape rooms that it offers for guests who come visit.
On top of that, it has its own flag, currency, and national anthem in hopes that perhaps in the future it will become its own sovereign state.
If anything, this should be a tale of example on how much one can really accomplish if they so desire it.
If building seems too hard, check out how 3D homes could be the future instead…
