Ever wondered how one of the most dangerous mammals on the planet gets its teeth brushed, well according to this viral video, they lean back and let a man scrub them for it.
The hippopotamus, a large blubbery mammal, with more rolls and ruberier than a bouncy ball down a hill, may conjure images of laziness and of warmth and affection. And who can blame you? Humans have been obsessed with chubby things ever since babies had cheeks.
But if you know anything about the hippo, you’ll know that the movie madagascar has lied to us all. Hippos are in act one of the most dangerous animals in their native continetent Africa. These 1,500kg creatures are known for their furious temprement, their mass capable of crushing and a running speed of 14 miles per hour. They are so deadly in fact that it is estimated that over 500 people in Africa a year.
However, A hippo has left the internet in a trance and been the subject of awe after a viral video surfaced on twitter of a hippo having it’s teeth brushed by a zookeeper.

Yet, the zookeeper, unphased by the potential bloodbath almost inches from him, scrubs away, really getting into those hard to reach areas.
The video has sparked a whirlwind of comments and questions from twitter users, mesmerized by the bravery of this zookeeper turned dental hygenist.
One commentor helpfully pointed out that “FYI, this is the most dangerous animal in Africa,”
The clip also begs the question of what the exact job title of the zookeeper is, what would he write on his CV? Do they teach a course in hippo dental hygiene at Uni: “I’m just so mad that my college didn’t offer hippo tooth brushing or panda enclosure sweeping as majors.” one commentor opines.
