Here you can see a group of tourists fleeing a giant wave caused by a part of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier falling into the icy water.
The video was first posted on the Icelandic tour company Hafjall’s Facebook page. The caption was pretty bright, saying how rare it is to see such a large ‘calving’ event. They offer to give private tours of this “amazing environment.”
Now I’ve been to Iceland, so I can confirm it is an amazing environment. But let’s be honest… If I was there I wouldn’t be thinking about how amazing it is. I’d be running for my life!
