Man Plays Piano While Police Attack Anti-Lockdown Protesters in Barcelona

Just a man, his piano, and 2020.

Okay everyone, literally this is the funniest video I’ve seen in a long time. Funny in a way that only people who have been enduring 2020 would understand. A man playing beautiful piano music while chaos unravels around him.

Anti-lockdowners were met with police bruit force an evening in Barcelona. The video captured is obviously supposed to be of the pianist but happens to also capture what looks like something out of The Purge. I’m talking bodies running past sirens, explosions, fire, screaming.

You know in movie trailers when they show the most horrific scenes with ominous piano music played over it. This is exactly that but in real life. If I’ve learned one thing though it’s that 2020 has shown us that literally, anything can happen. Our world is but an enigma.

I think there’s something to be said about a man and his piano in the middle of violence. You know he can hear what’s going on around him, but the one thing of beauty in a scene of tragedy is the song he plays. The name of the song is ‘Eternal Flame’ which can’t seem any more fitting.

My heart and soul goes out to those who are trying to keep our planet afloat. Trying to keep us safe. Comfortable. This clip may seem funny to watch, but maybe that’s just our way of distancing ourselves from the war raging outside our windows.

And when the end is finally here, apocalypse apartments are being developed! Only for billionaires though. Sorry, didn’t mean to get your hopes up– we’re all probably going to still die.
