YouTuber DualEx converted the second-hand travel van into a solar-powered tiny home!
Moving to his friend’s plot of land in New York state, the YouTuber had the bright idea to transform and old RV into the perfect off-the-grid tiny mobile home.
Showing the process of his renovation step-by-step, DualEx traded the outdated decor and opted for a modern industrial design with strong wooden touches. But the most fascinating part of DualEx’s process is how he kept the ‘bare bones’ of the RV the same and just gave the trailer the transformation it needed.
The result ended in a stunning modern trailer home – which is powered through green energy sources.
DualEx also demonstrated some space saving hacks when dealing with small spaces. For example, he increased his kitchen counter space by making a wooden cover that can easily be removed from the sink. He also demonstrated how a hidden sliding pantry can be an effective way to maximise cupboard storage!
