Local authorities have identified the suspect responsible for speeding through the Milwaukee Christmas parade, injuring 40 and killing five.
November 21, a red Ford SUV ploughed through barricades around the parade, running into crowds of parade watchers lined down the street.
Law enforcement have identified 39-year-old, Darrell Brooks as a person of interest according to AP News.
This was recorded from the City of Waukesha’s Facebook account, which was streaming the parade.

it was confirmed that Darrell brooks was charged with five counts of murder in the first-degree, which essentially is intentional murder. It was also reported that Brooks was involved in a domestic disturbance that was called in just before the incident of the parade.
The city of Waukesha posted recently to confirmed the number of fatalities of the tragic event. They are still gathering information to learn the motivation behind the horrible crime.

Local hospitals reported almost 28 people were being treated as a result of the massacre, according to NBC News.
At least 13 people were treated at Summit’s Aurora Medical Center and 15 patients were seen at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee. About 3 people at Summit’s are in critical condition.

Per Archdiocese of Milwaukee spokesperson, Sandra Peterson, multiple parishioners, Waukesha Catholic school children and one priest were among the injured.
Wisconsin Department of Justice is said to be providing assistance for this ongoing investigation.
