VIDEO: Japanese Translators Sound Inaudible During Attempt to Translate Presidential Debate

Can you understand these Japanese Translators? Me neither.

You weren’t the only one watching the 2020 Presidential Debate! Apparently, the world was watching as well, including Japan and they couldn’t understand anything.

If you watched Trump vs. Biden, you know how much speaking over one another took place. The moderator had to jump in to control the debate but that just added to the many misunderstandings of words.

Imagine being a translator for this debate. Translating simultaneously is not easy. Hearing the original audio is one thing but listening to the translation is another.

For Japan, hearing the inaudible voices was a disappointment. Take a look at some of these tweets that prove it.

We know this wasn’t a perfect debate, but hopefully, future discussions will go smoother and be understandable. The next Presidential Debate for 2020 is scheduled to take place on October 15 and October 22 at 9 pm ET.

Do you think a different setting and host will change this debate for the better? Check out Joe Rogan offers to host Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden on his podcast to make your own judgment.
