Mamoudou Gassama, a migrant from Mali, was at a restaurant in France when he noticed something emergent across the street. He saw a toddler hanging from a balcony four stories high. It did not take him very long to decide he had to take action to help the young boy. In less than a minute, Gassama had scaled all four stories and rescued the child. Now, he is being praised by the whole country, including the president of France, Emmanuel Macron. According to CNN, Gassama was offered full citizenship in France, and a job from the Paris Fire Brigade. Watch him in action here:
