Apple’s New Subscription Service ‘Apple One’ Is Out Now

This all inclusive subscription has a lot to boast about!

In September, we reported that Apple was going to be adding a premium service called Fitness+ to their brand. According to business insiders, Apple products saw slight sales improvements, but nothing extraordinary. iPhone sales were down compared to other years, but things like Macbooks and iPad’s were up. So it looks like it is the perfect time to roll out the very latest in all-inclusive services. As of Friday, Oct 30, Apple One is now available.

But what all is included in Apple One and how much does it cost? Well, we are here to give you the big scoop: you basically get EVERYTHING. Yes, everything. You will get Arcade, Apple Music, Apple News+, Fitness+ Apple TV+, and iCloud. Those little + symbols give you above and beyond the normal app power — for example with Apple News+ you will get access to all articles without any limits. Now the cost of all this will vary depending on what you want with those apps.

Apple One will include Apple Music, which you can use to play karaoke!
Apple News+ will also include premium access to hundreds of magazines, in addition to major news outlets.

There are three different levels of Apple One you can sign up for. The first one is the individual plan, this will get you Music, tv+, Arcade, and 500GB iCloud for $14.95 per month. Next is the Family Plan, this gets you Music, tv+, Arcade, and 200GB iCloud for 19.95 per month. Lastly is the Premier Plan, this gets you Music, tv+, Arcade, 2TB iCloud, News+, and Fitness+ for $29.95 per month. Now, unfortunately, the Premier plan is only available in Canada, the States, Australia, and the UK. This seems to be because Apple News+ is rolled out in those countries and not in other countries. Hopefully, there are plans to roll it out further.

As with all their family plans, this service is available to share with up to six family members. The premier plan will also be available to share with family members. Apple states that depending on the plan you chose, you can save up to $25 per month with bundling vs using stand-alone subscriptions. Sounds almost too good to be true, honestly. As an avid Apple user myself, I am interested to see what Apple One is all about! Are any of you Apple lovers and will you be looking into this new service? Let us know in the comments. And as always, from all of us at Trill!: stay safe, wash your hands, and don’t forget to charge your phone.
