It’s no secret that the Coronavirus pandemic is developing at a rapid and alarming rate, but there’s no situation to better illustrate it that this one from Jared Leto.
Leto, who is soon starring in the upcoming Marvel film Morbius, told fans how he was ‘totally isolated’ on the retreat.
He explained how he had emerged into a ‘very different world’ of general panic and self-isolation in the US, along with the rest of the world.
He’d had no access to phone and internet connections, and had not been given any updates on governmental decisions or advice from the organisers of the retreat.
The actor is not the only person to have made it through the pandemic so far completely unaware. The producers of the German version of hit reality TV series Big Brother revealed this week how contestants were also completely unaware of the virus and its effects on the world.
Leto went on to describe the situation as ‘mind-blowing’. He received a flood of messages and comments from fans and responded by sending some good wishes to his followers.
He also urged them to follow government advice and stay inside wherever possible.
Shortly after, he shared photos of what appears to be an in-home music studio, along with the caption ‘my office for the duration of quarantine’.
