Only three months ago news of a worldwide spread (potentially) fatal virus would have come as a shock to most people.
But here we are in mid-March, two months after the first announced cases, and though China has worked hard for months and is seeing a recovering trend, Covid-19 is spreading rapidly throughout the rest of the world.
So what to do? Media has been creating a lot of panic around the subject because I mean, the statistics aren’t looking great for many European countries especially, but panic isn’t exactly helpful in critical situations like epidemics. So calm down. The Coronavirus isn’t a guide to certain death, in fact, according to the statistics around 95% of the infected recover. Still, further spreading needs to be stopped, and here’s where you can help.
Wearing face masks is a precaution one can take but really the most effective measure involves paying extra close attention to hygiene, and in particular, washing your hands. Thoroughly.
If anyone is unsure of the appropriate procedure the following video clearly demonstrates how to most effectively sanitize your hands.
So with that watched all I’ve got to say is… WASH YOUR HANDS KIDS!
