That Time A Guy And His Mates Mowed Down A ‘Seven Figure’ Sum Cannabis Farm

Next time you’re wandering through the wilderness, Make sure you haven’t trampled someones entire weed empire!

An entire Cannabis farm, worth more than you’ll ever make in your life, was destroyed in 1990 when a team of unwitting and seemingly harmless teens accidentally wreaked havoc upon it in their pick-up truck, almost dying in the process. The culprits live to share their story.

Everyone knows the business world is a cutthroat place, and anyone on the inside knows how hard it is to get your little startup off the ground. Businesses fall, markets crash, competitors swoop in and steal all your customers. But, when you decide to invest all of your time and resources into growing and maintaining a MULTI-MILLION dollar cannabis empire, out of your back garden (In secret because it’s the 90s and weed is still illegal), with no legal team or an HR department, there’s a chance you could lose it all. That was the case for this marijuana mogul out in northwest Georgia back in 1990.

Who were the villains of this tale you ask? Well, what started as a fairly harmless story about a group of misfit friends, simply wanting to go and swim in their favourite quarry, quickly spirals into an elaborate series of events. The unwitting hooligans drove their Ford Ranger through a field which was, unbeknownst to them, a ‘6 or 7 figure’ sum of cannabis plants. pistols were drawn, shots were fired, a chase ensues, they pull something called a ‘Chinese fire drill’ (whatever that is). Did I mention these kids were only seventeen and well out of their depth? And it only gets more ludicrous from there. SPOILER ALERT: thankfully they lived to tell the tale. If this happened now, now that cannabis is slowly becoming decriminalised across the states, this could have all been avoided (hopefully).
