Oceane El Himer was spotted taking photos in business class, before taking her seat in economy.

The influencer was dragged on the internet after someone spotted her taking a glammed-up photo in business class, despite her ticket being economy. From the outside looking it, it certainly appears that she was trying to fool her 864k followers into believing she was traveling in luxury..

The influencer was clearly unhappy with being caught, like this unhappy scammer,  and issued the following statement regarding the accusation:

” I will be very clear, I have no shame in traveling in eco class, there is nothing to be ashamed of. So I took several flights to arrive in the south, including one in eco class. took a picture and I accepted.

I fully assume the fact of traveling in eco class, I’m not the type of girl who likes to show her money (…) Yes I traveled in eco and in business. And so? Where is the problem, I do not understand?

Much more serious things are happening in life”.

It seems to be a trend at the moment where people like to fake lavish lifestyles, with influencers posting in fake private jets to fool their followers into unobtainable lifestyles, such as the photo below of Lil Nas.

Regardless of whether the claim is true or false against Oceane El Himer, it is clear that often things aren’t quite as they seem.
