Schitt Creek’s Rosebud Motel Has Gone Up For Sale

The Rosebud Motel, a staple from popular Netflix show Schitt’s Creek has become available for purchase.

Schitt’s Creek, a Netflix sitcom following a rich family after they lose their money, ended after season 6 in April 2020.

The Rosebud Motel, now available for sale, was the background for many iconic episodes, funny and heartfelt moments. This site featured in other shows as well. For fans of The Umbrella Academy and A History of Violence, this motel might look a little familiar…

But for those looking to buy the famous location, you’ll have to fork out $2.07 million.

What’s included in the purchase?

That money will get you 6.7 acres of land, with 1,265 feet of frontage. Alongside the physical building, there is a fire pit, picnic tables and other outdoor seating.

Inside the building, there are 10 bedrooms, a 2-storey manager’s suite, a separate cottage. Outside there is a parking lot and a bustling river.

It’s an hour and a half from downtown Toronto; the listing says it “offers refuge from the hustle and bustle of the big city.”

The listing reads: “The Property is currently not operational and a new owner has the ability to create something special on the Site, capitalizing on new travel trends following COVID-19.
