Puppy Bowl is back and cuter than ever!

The 3-hour event– which strives to raise awareness for pet adoption by embracing lovable pets in a playful environment– takes place Sunday February 7 at 2 p.m. ET on Discovery+ and Animal Planet.

Team Fluff and Team Ruff will go nose-to-nose for the Lombarky trophy in a brand-new ‘stadium within a stadium.’ Both teams– as routine with Puppy Bowl tournaments– will aim to carry their chew toys to an end zone (yes, that’s right, it doesn’t matter which end zone).

This year’s event, which features a Kitty halftime show, will highlight 70 adoptable (and adorable) pups from 22 different shelters and rescues.

Each year, Puppy Bowl has been successful in finding its pets affectionate families, with an adoption rate of 100%. For more information on how to adopt, be sure to tune in to Puppy Bowl on game day!

Returning this year is “Rufferee,” Dan Schachner, to mediate a game filled with playful ruff-housing and penalties such as “premature watering of the field.” Other guests include actress and animal advocate Kristen Bell, as well as Food Network host Valerie Bertinelli.

Meet this year’s starting line up players here, and be sure to save the date (February 7) for a pawsome game!
