Pub in Japan Advertises New “Sexy Ronald McDonald”

Do people want a shake with those fries?

A Japanese pub, Yotteba, displays artwork of an edgier, more scandalous Ronald McDonald. The once friendly, innocent, family-friendly clown is down to his birthday suit, besides for his red underwear. That’s not all – his underwear is now home to McDonald’s world famous french fries!

The concept of this “sexy” Ronald McDonald was actually created by Wizard Skull, a New York artist, about three years ago. Yotteba is not affiliated with McDonald’s in anyway, leading us to believe that this is simply provocative, eye-catching decor. If this is to further advertise their french fries in a positive or negative way is still confusing to most of us. They have received a lot of buzz with this artwork though, and maybe that was their whole goal!

Keeping up with the hottest trends and staying in pop culture can be challenging for businesses – is this the route to take? The designs definitely captured attention and kept this pub in the news! If you found this article interesting and want to see more on McDonald’s, check out this article.
