For all the cheese lovers out there, get ready to party with some cheese. This summer, Homage2Fromage, a monthly cheese club, will be throwing events in Leeds, Sheffield, Harrogate, and Manchester.
The club celebrates the delicacy of cheese, giving a place for cheese lovers to relax and eat all the cheese they want. Guests will get to listen to speakers share their cheese wisdom and make cheese-loving friends.
Eating fine cheeses at a party might be seen as high class and snobbish, but Homage2Fromage prides itself on its informality. The club is simply determined to expand people’s taste buds and get feedback on their cheeses, minus the fancy pants.
To get in, the events are fairly inexpensive, being £15. For £15 and all the cheese you can eat? That sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Co-founder Nick explains that this might be your kind of event:
“If you are passionate about cheese, curious about the many different kinds of cheese out there, how it’s made, where it comes from, who makes it, why something so simple can be so diverse, so versatile, so delicious – then this is the club for you.”
While I might not call myself passionate about cheeses, it sounds like an awesome life experience. Who can say they’ve gone to a cheese party? There’s no doubt it’s going on my bucket list.
Going out and trying some new food is always a great idea for inviting friends, or even having a date. Partying with cheese honestly sounds like the best date ever, and may just end in a marriage.
