What Lies Beneath is the perfect film to get started with the spooky season.
This classic 2000 film revolves around the story of Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer). Claire is a woman who doubts that a vengeful spirit haunts her house. Later, she learns about the spirit of a deceased girl who committed suicide because of Claire’s husband, Norman (Harrison Ford). After being betrayed by the love of her life and scared for her life, Claire needs to find a way to eliminate all the bad from her life while being sane.
For now, What Lies Beneath is not available on Netflix. However, there are plenty of other similar films that are perfect substitutes, such as –
Sinister (2005), The Conjuring 2 (2016), and No One Gets Out Alive (2021).
Those with the HBO Max add-on as a part of their Hulu subscription can stream What Lies Beneath today.
But, if you don’t have an add-on, there’s no need to worry. Hulu has several other great titles, including You Are Not My Mother (2021), The Evil Next Door (2020), and The Lodge (2019), as part of its ever-growing horror lineup.
What Lies Beneath is also streaming on HBO Max.
Fortunately, the streaming options for this Harrison Ford film aren’t few and far between. Viewers can stream, rent, and/or purchase What Lies Beneath on Paramount+, YouTube, Apple TV, Vudu, Google Play, and Amazon Prime Video.
