Based on the popular fantasy series Shadow and Bone became a hit when it debuted in 2021. It’s been announced that Shadow and Bone would return for a second season, but as of October 2023, there is no release date.
In the Netflix Tudum event on September 24, it was revealed that the show would not be returning to the streamer in 2022 at all.

Shadow and Bone season 2 is coming in 2023
We’re excited for the release of Starz’s Shadow and Bone season 2, but an update about it has not been found. It is confirmed to have finished filming new episodes in June of 2022.

When could Shadow and Bone season 2 come to Netflix?
Typically, Netflix originals spend six to eight months in post-production before their release. But post-production may take much longer due to a particular case like this one. Given that filming wrapped in June 2022, we believe that the earliest date Shadow and Bone season 2 could be released is February 2023.
