Morbius was released in theaters on 1st April. Although it wasn’t that successful at the box office, it has certainly become an internet meme since it was released. Morbius is among the first batch of Sony movies to be released on Netflix in the US.

The movie belongs to the Marvel Comics Universe in the shared Spider-Man Universe. This movie was directed by Daniel Espinosa. Jared Leto, Matt Smith, and Adria Arjona were involved in the cast.

The plot of the movie involves a “Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.”

In the US, the big new Sony deal is in play as of January 1st, 2022. It is not clear when the theatrical movies from Sony will arrive at Netflix. However, we have got a good idea because of the release date announcements of Uncharted and Umma.

Both titles are going to arrive at Netflix, but not on a uniform schedule. Instead, so far, we’ve watched Sony movies launch on Netflix either 120 days after their initial release or 147 days, as in the case of Uncharted.

Morbius arrived at Netflix India as a part of the pay-1 window on August 1st, 2022.

However, it’s hard to know which regions will receive Morbius in the future, beyond India.
But we know that many regions of Netflix do get Sony movies roughly two years after they are released in theaters.
