The upcoming musical will allegedly be set in Angouleme, France, and will center around life in post-WW1 France.
Wes Anderson is undoubtedly a great director, having directed some great films like The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom and Fantastic Mr. Fox, among others.
Anderson’s next project, which will be his 10th major feature film, is set to take the form of a French musical set in the 1950s, with musician Mark Mothersbaugh, who has composed the music for countless Anderson films, rumored to be producing the soundtrack.
Not only that, the musical will allegedly feature Bill Murray, who Anderson recently worked with on 2018’s Isle Of Dogs, which if you haven’t seen by the way, is really great. 10/10 would recommend.

Owen Wilson and Tilda Swinton are among some other names rumored to be part of the cast.
Filming for the upcoming musical is believed to be starting in February 2019.
With neither cast, composer or filming start date confirmed yet, it all remains a bit of a mystery at this point, but really nothing Wes Anderson does can be bad, can it?
