NBC will break its American rendition of the renowned United Kingdom game show The Wheel into two weeks in an unprecedented scheduling maneuver.
It follows the removal of the show from the network’s midseason schedule, which was revealed last week. Michael McIntyre is a British comedian, who also directed the BBC version, and creates and hosts each hour-long episode. It follows six famous guests as they advise, spin, and encourage aspirants competing for the $100,000, prize.
In the inaugural episode, Amber Ruffin, Steve Kornacki, Cat Cora, Mark McGrath, Christina Ricci, and Todrick Hall will appear to assist participants in a number of subjects ranging from Beyoncé and the ’90s to elections and more.
Carole Baskin, Clay Aiken, Raven-Symone, Jaime Camil, Vivica A, Judge Greg Mathis, Margaret Cho, Deepak Chopra, Kate Flannery. Fox, Tony Hawk, Loni Love, Chrissy Metz, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Terrell Owens, Kysy Whitley, Buddy Valastro, and Mark Sanchez are among the other notable guests.
Release Date of The Wheel Episodes 1 & 2
Episode 1 has released yesterday and episode 2 will be released on December 20 (Today), respectively, at 10 p.m. After that every week a fresh episode will come at 8 p.m. ET/PT. ET/PT.
