Based on Javier Castillo’s book La chica de nieve, The Snow Girl is available to stream from January 27, 2023. The Snow Girl, a brand-new Spanish series, is a taut mystery thriller. It serves as a compelling character study in addition to a satisfying detective story. With a captivating mystery at its core and only six episodes, this Spanish show is simple to watch in one sitting.

Towards the end of The Snow Girl season 1 finale Miren receives a second envelope containing a polaroid image of a young girl tied up in what appears to be a trunk. The caption includes a girl’s name and the dates she disappeared, indicating that the girl depicted is also missing, as was Amaya.

It suggests that a second season would follow The Souls Game’s plot, as it is similar to the beginning of the second book in Javier Castillo’s series. The Snow Girl could investigate Miren’s rape and the girl in the photograph’s mystery. She doesn’t find her attackers in the first season, but she could continue her search for them in season 2.

Netflix has not provided any information regarding a second season of The Snow Girl. It is important to note that The Snow Girl is produced worldwide. Netflix typically takes its sweet time evaluating the numbers for these productions.

The Snow Girl has yet to be officially renewed or canceled by Netflix. It is difficult to predict whether international shows will be restored, but the way the first season ends makes it clear that the writers want at least one more season. That makes sense, given that there are currently two books out, and the show is based on a book series. As usual, it’s too early to say what The Snow Girl might do in the future.
